Where Ancestors Cry

Inside you will find pieces of my spirit. That time when the world is running, is the time for me to pull back and seek the Great Spirit. It is a wonderful thing. I am Cherokee Indian, and full of pride. You will notice the wolf is a constant companion and keeps me safe. He will always be there, doing just that, and nothing else. Waya Adanvdo means wolf spirit. There will come time when the Great Spirit brings me home. Until I get there, I will always have my pieces of work, somewhere out there. I wrote this book after having a stroke in the beginning of the year. It was a time of the year when I was questioning everything. There are a few pieces that I wrote after having the stroke. I feel as if years have passed and it's only been since January. All of this book is of the spirit world. So take these writings and take them to heart. You may reread them....and get something totally different from them. nvwatohiyadv

This this is a really lovely read, poetry. Waya is a Native American Cherokee. His close affinity with the natural world and in particular to Wolves comes through beautifully in his verses. Anyone with a love of nature and the wilderness and an interest in Native Americans really will love this. ITS A MUST READ. Waya is also the author of another book Cherokee Sounds, which I will get next.

I love Waya's poetry! It reads aloud perfectly as all poetry should. I do wish it were hardbound for my library.

I GIVE THIS ONE BY WAYA ADANVDO FIVE STARY

The Spirit is there!Wado.
