This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed maps of world continents with their countries' outlines in which my son could label the name of the country and the capitol. This was perfect for that. Also, there are maps that are already labeled, making it easy to find a country you're not familiar with and transfer the information to the blank map. We will be using it regularly in homeschool this year.
... this is a very good book to help anyone who wants to learn about world geography. I purchased this book and two other books for a friend's child:- World Maps and Globes Coloring Book- The Complete Book of Maps and Geography, Grades 3 - 6 ... all three of them look really good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them.
It's great premise but very poorly executed. Do NOT use this book to teach your children geography. The maps are seriously out of date and inaccurate. Several countries have been omitted from the European, Asian, and Middle Eastern maps. .
This is a terrific book of maps of various regions of the world. Each map comes in several versions, including blank or with countries and cities identified. The world is divided up in various ways, so users can see both details and how countries and geographic features fit together. This is wonderful for teaching geography.
I bought this book for my grandson and then, I bought a 2nd one for another grandchild. They love the maps and are able to draw in countries from different eras in history. They use tracing paper to copy the outlines and then fill them in. Well worth the price!
I had hoped to use this in our homeschooling lessons of the continents but there aren't may close up views of specific countries or continents.If you are looking for a detailed map with capitals then its ok.
This is an excellent fill in book for map studies! My 12 year old grandson loved it, but then, so did I!
I love this! I bought it to use while teaching my children about geography, but think that it is beneficial for all ages.
