I am reading this book for a class I am taking at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The authors makes strong arguments for the importance of equalizing education for all students while providing tax relief to citizens. They do a terrific job of explaining the research behind education and economics while working through the complicated topic of school finance formulas. This book is not only relevant for school administrators in Nebraska, but for the average taxpayer across the country as well. I recommend this textbook to anyone who is interested in learning more about their taxes, government spending, and/or educational finance reform.

This was a required text for an educational leadership finance course I had to take for my master's program. I actually enjoyed reading this book, because it not only covers the financing of education, but also goes into the history of taxation in our country. I am so glad I ordered it as an e-book, because now I can refer back to it on my iPad anytime!

College of St. Rose forced its students to pay 145 dollars for this useless book. All the info could be found on line, most of the chapters are from other texts. The Professors are forced to give assignments from this rag. I'm out 145 dollars and it sucks.

I am reading this book for graduate level coursework and disgusted at the poor writing. There is extensive lack of editing within the book. There are typos and errors even in chapter headings. I have no idea how this is the 11th ed. of the book with this many editors and authors and still has so many errors. The errors and poor writing make it ridiculously confusing and difficult to read. I have no idea how this publishing company can reasonably market this book for this price without taking better time to edit it. The content also is extremely limited. I'm only through the first two chapters, but most of the evidence and points given are examples of things that have no relation to each other whatsoever. I would not recommend this book, if you have to have it for class--good luck-hope your professor gives you better content than this book!

This book is quite informative, relevant and has some prime examples of the economic challenges that school face. The price is heavy but I think the book is worth the price.

This book will fill you in on what administrators need to know about finance and education. Great book. This book was assigned to me to read by my professor and it was a good choice.

Great book! I am using it for a class and it has everything that was promised. The book was in great condition when it arrived as well.

Outside of the book. I loved that I was able to save a lot of money buying the kindle version versus paying $160 at the bookstore.
