These books are great. I would say that they are probably better for students who are at their grade level in grammar, so if you need it for struggling students, I'd recommend getting a grade level or two below their actual grade level. I would also say that you need to give additional example to the ones in the book, because they only have 1 or 2 at the top of the page in each section.
We love write source for our grammar and writing curriculum. We don't like to buy big box curriculum sets because there is always some element we do not like, so I am glad to have this resource to take care of grammar/writing skills.
I am home schooling my daughter and this workbook has been an excellent source to help her improve in language arts. I even purchased the teachers edition and it is very user friendly.
