Don't waste your money on the on-line 1-time use NES practice tests. Purchase this paperback version. My daughter failed the Math test twice by 8 questions, then passed by 8 questions after using this product.

So for that reason alone, you can be honest with yourself and get yourself in exam ready shape. This is just an invaluable resource when it comes to prepping for this exam.
These two practice tests helped me prepare! I passed both tests the first time with the help of these books. The explanations in the back of the book for each question helped me understand why I got a question wrong or learn more about the concepts. The book's questions are slightly harder then the actual test (especially in math) but it helped me be better prepared for the test regardless.
This book does a good job of preparing you for the style of questions on the NES exam. It does a good job of explaining why specific answers are correct/incorrect. I will recommend this to fellow teachers preparing for the exam
