So far everything I have learned in class is on point in this book with practice questions and answers to see if I got it right or wrong. This book also explains why it not the answer as well which gives u a better understanding. Talks on ekg, HIPPA, vitals, phlebotomy and sigmond freud. I hope I pass my test and will give update when I do. Worth the money buy it.
I thoroughly enjoy using this book to help me prepare for my certification exam. However, there are a few questions in the book that have the wrong answer labeled. This concerns me for future students who think their answers are correct, when in reality the book is incorrect. The next time it is published it needs to be checked and checked again so it does not lead the students down the wrong path.
I ordered the book and the kindle version... I've been a medical assistant for more than 10year. I allowed my certification to expire, so when I wanted to do a job Change I had to recertify.Both versions helped me, I actually liked the kindle version just due to convenience when carrying it and the book for the pratice test. Its was a great refresher!
I passed the NCIINTC or NCMA with a 90 using the book. The review sessions were helpful. I did find a lot of A LOT of errors within the book, especially within the answer key. Misspellings in questions, ambiguous questions, wrong answers.
It's extremely helpful. It showed me exactly the areas that I needed to concentrate on the most.
This book helped me pass my test today. It has good studying material to prepare someone with NCCT test.. i passed by studying this book and another book that i bought online... all in all good understanding of topics and practice on questions contributes a lot on passing the test.
By far the best study book I have used. Very helpful quizzes after each chapter.
The information was good, however after completing the exam I don't feel that enough topics were covered in the study book that were on the test. Also the book had mistakes which was frustrating. I did pass the test, but I can't say I would recommend this book to someone else.
