I got this book to get some practice to take the postal exam for the 2nd time. After doing about 3 or 4 practice tests I felt confident enough to pass. It has a few hints on how to study certain areas of the test that were useful. Overall a very simple book to get some practice. Would not have repassed the postal test without it.
I Passed the 473 Exam in 11/2013! If it wasn't for this book, most likely I would not have! My memory needed some sharpening tools and this book provided the tools needed. I purchased the online/ebook version; downloaded the book to my desktop with options provided; studied the book in less than 24 hours before the test and passed! (Being a college student may have helped some) Nevertheless, the book comes with practice tests and the formats are similar to the actual test. Great book and I would recommend it to anyone!
Bought this book January 15th 2015. Studied just 5 days using this book and the postal web site practice text's. Got an 80.9 on my postal text. I did not check my answer's when I went to take the text with the post office on there computer. Looking back I really wish I did so my score would have been higher, I had plenty of time while taking the text to do so. Nervous I guess. This book did prepare me for the postal text. I was able to breeze right through the computer test with the post office. This is a timed test so you'll need a timer when your studying. I got hired :)) April 6th,2015. Would recommend this book if your wanting to do RCA work for the post office.
I passed! The test wasn't difficult at all but it helped that I knew exactly what to expect, thanks to this book.
Book was a waste of money. There are practice tests online that I used that were MUCH better to help me pass the test. This book was useless to me to study for the test, but I will look over it again for some useful tips on how to pass the interview. Hopefully it will give me some good tips. First things first, I got the electronic version, spent 20 hours during a one week period doing the practice exams and passed the test. Is this worth the investment, heck yes! Be advised that the formats of some of the actual testing is different then presented in the book, and that no paper or test form is available to jot notes down during testing, it is all electronic. This book helped me pass the postal exam without stressing. I was very prepared and completed the test with time to spare.
I want to work in the postal service so I got this book to help me study and the book is easy to read and understand. It explains alot of stuff you need to know. I recommend to anyone looking for a book like this, get this one.
