This book is the best, I'm so please to purchase it. It gave me every detail of what I need to do to get the best during my exam. I really recommend it. If you ever want to study for the CO exam please get this book and you will not regret it. :)
Got this for the test I took on 10/18. With only a week and a half to use it, I improved my grade by a lot. In comparison to the real test, this is pretty close. Except these give you 100 questions per exam. Great buy. I didnt use the bubble answer sheets so even after using it thoroughly, it is still in brand new condition. Worth the money, especially if you aren't a great test taker like myself. Plenty of helpful tips.
Barron's material is top notch and if you used Barron's police exam study book you will find some crossover material. However, this is a very different type of test and material you will need to know. If you want to pass a local or state exam with a strong score you will need this book.
If you already have one of the other Barron's LEO study book, don't buy this, just use the one you have. All the diagrams are exactly the same, and situations and reading comp are pretty much the same, just with name and word changes.
A nicely organized study guide with 6 full-length exams and 1 diagnostic exam. Other helpful features include tips on memory questions and grammar review. Personally I felt that it helped improve my score - 95 on the NYCDoC 2016 Exam. I have taken the NYPD exam back in 1988 and scored about 84 so I think this helped especially on the memory aspect.
Took the CO exam a few years back and failed. This covers everything i've seen on the exam. And helps you understand the material on the test. I'm taking my test in 5 days and i will update this review for those who want to get this kind of job.
This book came on time and was as described. Very helpful for studying for the court offices exam. I passed with an 88. Barrons is a reputable brand and I would suggest this to anyone taking the court officer tests.
The book contains a lot of the material in the actual test according to the practice that was sent to me by the state in preparation to the exam.
