The tests were at about the same level that you could expect on the actually SSAT. The explanations to the answers in the back of the book were easy enough for my 8yr old 3rd grader to understand. I bought just about every SSAT book on and this was in my top three of usefulness!!
The test questions and explanations are of good quality, but there is no table for converting raw scores to scaled scores. Without that information, you really can't tell how well you've done or if you're prepared for the real thing.
