I got the e-book too (awesome) but I have slight ADD (not really but the moment I hear music that's it I am done) so needless to say these flashcards came mighty handy. I am not kidding.Well see even if you get the e-book (again amazing) you will have to remember each specific page to get your definition and thought answered, so instead of scrambling around even just thinking about that I decided to purchase the flashcards too. I was extremely happy I did. They really helped me to actually memorize the content of this entrance exam. I had the whole clan help me as well, mom, dad, friends and so on. That is the great thing about flashcards, you can get others to make you smarter and hey, even make them smarter. These flashcards helped those who didn't understand my need for taking this exam - it made them more empathetic to what I was going through.

Writing an essay is almost an art form. It's not an easy thing to do, but anyone can get better at it with a little studying. If you know how to revise and how to make things coherent and cohesive from the beginning, you will go a lot farther with your essay writing. Sometimes, taking a test is as hard as writing a good essay. If you are going to have success at tests in general, you need to know how to write a good essay. It might sound strange to get flash cards to help you figure out how to write essays, but they can actually really help. With these flash cards, you will be able to decipher how to edit and revise on the go. These cards also help with math by giving you story problems to decipher. They will help with reasoning and reading comprehension as well. With flash cards like these, you'll barely need the notes you took in any class. You will have all of the material you need for the test right in the flash cards. They are organized and comprehensive and ready to go wherever you go. Once you commit them to memory, you will easily be able to take the test and score well. You might even search for similar cards if you have higher level tests to take in the future.

These flash are cards are a good source to help my son with his upcoming exams. However, these should not be your only source for getting all the knowledge your child would needs to pass the exams. These flash cards assume that your child is already familiar with the subject so minute details are left out. An example of this is when asked to compute a dollar amount in a back account after 20 years of getting compound interest with the initial amount of $1000.00. The explanation used the correct formula and tells us that n = 4. A child who has never seen this problem or who does not understand banking would not understand why n = 4. A child would have to understand that, in this case, the bank distribute the compound interest every quarter annually which would be every 3 months. 12 months divide by 3 (12/3 = 4) will give you 4. Little minute details like this are missing for some of the problems. I think the cards are more of a review for what your child already knows. The cards do ask questions on why a child would solve a problem which gets her/him to think. I love this aspect of the cards since most kids just mindlessly do the problems without ever thinking what is the purpose. They do this by asking definition or how the problem should be solved. One thing that I hated is that card 7 or 8, maybe 6 asked to define the certain shapes and draw the shapes. While the definition was on the back of the card, the shapes were drawn on a different card. I find this unacceptable, since the card makers assumed that children will keep the flash cards in the order they were given. My son is not the orderly type. I know they did this because they did not have enough space, but they should have solved the problems by making the cards a little bigger. I solved this by writing numbers on those cards. The number of mathematics questions far outweighed the number of English questions. My son loves this since he loves to do mathematics.I loved that the cards can be easily taken around with my son without having to carry a big book around with him. Overall, the questions are of good quality and it would benefit any child using themIn conclusion, nothing is perfect and future adjustments can be made. I think the cards are good source, another way of understanding how questions are presented. The more experience he gets, the better he will be, so I am giving it 5 stars.
