I didn't bother moving past the 25th page. There was a huge mathematical error to one of their problems. I cannot trust studying from a book that would have such glaring mistakes. The way they went about solving the problem made no logical sense.I have to say, I was initially drawn to the book because of how easily they explained their steps. I didn't bother to check if the answers were correct or if their process was sound when I skimmed through the pages. You kinda trust these companies to...well you know, provide correct answers.Take a look at the question in the picture. I have no idea how 1/2 gallons makes any logical sense.
Full of mistakes, but pitched at a slower speed than, say, Nova's GRE Math Prep Course, so if you catch the mistakes (hopefully all of them), it can be a good review. DO NOT USE THIS BOOK AS YOUR PRIMARY RESOURCE.
Full of mistakes. Do they even double check the work on their own problems? As another reviewer mentioned, page 25 has a huge mistake, not in calculations, but in the method of coming up with an answer. This is completely unacceptable.
Use it to study. Ignore the drills and tests at the end. They are unrealistic to the actual GRE. But it is a great book to teach yourself everything all over again. It is like having your math book with all the extra crap cut out.
This book has a ton of mistakes. I'm glad I got it from the library and didn't pay for it. The strategies it offers are very helpful but it's hard to take them seriously when you find an answer that refers to a part of a question that don't even exist, or just plain wrong answers. 2 stars because it's easy and actually somewhat helpful to spot their errors and you can still get a lot of help from their strategies. Still, it is inexcusable for book teaching you about math to be wrong even once.
