I scored in the 99.9% percentile on the old MCAT (pre 2015). My resources for Biology prep were this book, the EK 1001 and ThinkMCAT's biology audio.EK does not waste your time with excess material e.g. Kaplan, TBR. They hit most of the high yield concepts and I always appreciated their graphics. Their questions and your effort are all you need to do well on the MCAT.
Love this book so far. I was skeptical at first due to the various reviews but it's great so far. It explains all of the concepts so well. And I love the mini quizzes at the end of each section. It's really a great investment for MCAT studies. So glad I bought the book!
Great coverage of relevant bio topics for MCAT. Prioritizes concepts and terms so that you don't waste time trying to learn everything.
this book allow you to see big pictures of science! I used it to refresh my general biology for MCAT and It really does helps me a lot for prep.I would recommend this book to anyone! I love biology more now.
