All of the books in this series are must haves, but only if you are even remotely interested in the Napoleonic period. The illustrations are a miniature modelers wish come true, as they are an excellent guide to the painting of any size miniature. The colors reproduced in the book are spot on and the detail of the illustrations is remarkable. Included in each book are illustrations of all ranks, displaying them so one can see the differences easily.
this series is a "must have" for those interested in French Imperial Guard Uniforms, and I will certainly obtain this final volume. However other sources indicate that it will not be available until june 2008.
This is another excellent volume depicting the uniforms of the French Imperial Guard. The colour plates are excellent as usual with this series
