This is truly awful. The multiple choice questions are the same format as the new test, but they are not at the same difficulty level at all in comparison to the sample exam released to teachers by the college board. All of the questions after the primary source prompts are "according to the passage, one may infer that...."I am returning the book as it will be of no use for me or my students this upcoming year.

I found this book extremely helpful. It was great in summarizing key points that are necessary for the exam. It makes it interesting and unlike Princeton Review, is not like a textbook. Obviously, your textbook provided in class will go over everything you need, and this book goes over the very main points you need to know in order to succeed. It was fun, in fact, to read this and actually helped me like this class. However, the multiple choice practice was not enough to prepare you for the exam, but the free-response and short answer and DBQ prompts were great. The ones in this book were similar to the ones on the exam which was pretty awesome.

This is a good short overview of what you need to know for the AP Test, but other books such as the Princeton review go much more in depth and show very helpful techniques that this book never goes over. For example, the multiple choice overview in this book is only two pages, and doesn't tell you anything you didn't already know. The Princeton Review multiple choice overview is about 8 pages and contains much more helpful techniques and sample questions.I wouldn't recommend this book. Go for the Princeton Review instead

Will not use this book for my AP course, as it is lacking complexities needed in the design of the questions used.

awful! Don't buy it. One MCQ for each unit and limited resources

Multiple choice questions aren't up to AP standards—can't really recommend it as a helpful resource. There are better books out there (e.g. Princeton Review's Cracking the AP European History Exam.
