This series of books is the crystal clarification of what excatly is the heart of soul if Judaism - it's moral and ethical concepts and behavioral lessons. I dont think, for the lay reader, any better volumes have been penned which paint Hillel's picture of The Golden Rule and "all the rest is commentary." Must have for all Jews, and Goyimn alike, who claim to have hearts and minds.
