The jokes are funny but I'm not sure if that compensates for the lack of color or plainness. I left a photo of what the jokes look like. Thought there would be more color :/
This is actually our second joke book in this line. We've already gone through the lunchbox jokes book that doesn't have a specific topic. While I like the jokes in the animal book a little better, both books have been big hits with my son. He loves getting one each day in his lunch.
These are okay. I have 3 kids- ages 9, 7 and 6. I only use them for my 7 year old because she's the kid that really likes this kid of stuff from mommy at lunch. I like the jokes they are on par for her age and understanding, but there's not any color in here. She Loves brightly colored things so I add a little bit of coloring myself with markers or crayons.
Our kids have loved having these riddles in their lunch each day! It has been a fun way to connect with them while they are at school. The jokes have elevated our tradition of lunchbox notes. Even our middle schooler loves them!
These are great. My eight-year-old and five-year-old can understand the jokes and I like that you can fold them in half and have a spot to write in a special note of my own. I put them in their lunches every day. I will be buying other sets when these run out.
Convenient. My daughter is in 1st grade and looks forward to them in her lunchbox everyday. Some jokes are okay, not fantastic but I will continue using them as long as she likes them. I'm on the fence about buying the others in the series.
I work 12 hour shifts and don't get to see my daughter some days. Mom occasion, when I have to work, I'll leave a note in her lunchbox to let her know I miss her. These added a perfect special touch. My 8 year old loves the cute pictures. She understands all of the jokes I've given her. I do suspect there's a few that an 8 year old may not get, but she's going to love them anyways. She's actually saving them.
I admit I'm a nerd and I think the corny jokes are great! My son is 8 and I didn't think he actually read them but I forgot to put one in the other day and he was quick to point it out when he got home:)
