The speeches collected here are just amazing! It is so wonderful to go back and read the words that have so inspired me during the president's service to our country. Even as a youth and at Harvard, he had the power to touch and motivate through his oratorical elegance. I would love to have all his speeches.

I was hoping for a book that contained all of the critical speeches of Barack Obama, without including every single speech. This book is the perfect collection of select speeches. Obama's most famous speeches are here, including the Father's Day speech, the Inaugural Address, the Berlin speech, the speech from Grant Park (where Oprah was in the audience), and several more poignant moments for our country's history.Whether or not you support Barack Obama, no one can deny how powerful his speeches have been to move and unite our nation. This is a great source of inspiration and an important book in history.

If you are looking for a collection of Barack Obama speeches, there is no shortage of books available. I like this one because of the nice color and the speeches that are included. The description on is accurate and gives a good idea of what to expect. If you missed any of his key speeches, or just want to have a permanent record of his inspirational words, this is a great collection. Because his speeches will go down in history, this particular book of speeches will always be relevant and timely.

This is a brilliant man who wants good for all mankind. He shares those characteristics through his words as well as his deeds. The Good Book says as a man is, comes out of his mouth. He has influenced the masses at home and abroad. His kindness as well as his intellect shall never be obliberated. His words have indeed changed a nation! He will be sorely missed when he leaves office...I know I will miss him and I thank God for his service!~Carol Carter~

I never tire of hearing the words of Barack Obama and being reminded of the hope and energy he has instilled in Americans. I give this book a strong recommendation.

Anyone who supported Obama or who is following current events/politics needs to own this book. This assembly of speeches is a great collection and story of American history. Our president has been handed a difficult task, and we as Americans, should do our best to support his efforts. In this volume, you'll find speeches from the campaign, several election night speeches, the inaugural, and the economic speech given soon after he was elected. To stay positive and supportive of the cause that is our country, read this book to be reminded of the hope and change we all need to believe in.

It's nice to have the opportunity read the inspirational messages delivered by President Obama! He reminds us that we are in this together good, bad or otherwise. He reminds us that we can do better in this world.I am looking forward to his next book.

Change we can believe inThe first section of the book holds his key speeches, organized by date - starting with Audacity of Hope speech from the 2004 convention and ending with the economic address he gave in 2009. The second section is a mix of speeches by topic. For instance, the Father's Day speech and the MLK day speech. The book is not overwhelming, it's fewer than 200 pages, with only his most significant speeches included. Each speech starts with the name of the speech, the location where it was given, and the date delivered. For that reason, it's perfect for political / history buffs.
