Lippincott NCLEX-RN Alternate-Format Questions, 6th edition is designed to help anyone preparing to take the RN licensing examination. Students and faculty also use the book as a study guide and practice tests for preparing for faculty-made examinations. This expanded 6th edition has everything needed for students to be fully prepared to answer every type of question found on the NCLEX. I have only had this product a couple of days now but while studying it has helped me immensely already. I am beginning to finally understand the process of selecting the correct answer. This book is smaller than others so I carry it with me. I really like it so far.
This is a great book to practice alternative question that you do not find in your standard NCLEX prep book but will encounter on the NCLEX exam. I love that the answers and rationals are on the same page as the questions. It is frustrating when you have to go searching for the answer section.
Excellent sampling of alternate format questions. Be careful when reviewing answers as some of theirs are incorrect (p. 127 #12 for example, the rationale is correct but the given order of the answers is wrong). The rationales all seem great, so use those to build your knowledge/strategies.
I'm a junior in nursing school and found this book to be a great resource to rationalize answers to questions. I plan to continue using it for studying for the NCLEX. Very worth while purchase.
This was a gift for my niece who finished nursing school. She says it is a great book in studying to take her state boards to become a registered nurse.
The number of questions is limited. The explanations should be amplified.This is not a stand alone material, but a supplement.
