This is a very basic book. It is not for a student that is just learning the information hence the title nclex . It is more of a review book for people who have already been exposed to the information and need a quick reference book for a quick reminder of things. I liked how they were written in note card form. There were some meds that I knew important information was missing, which made me wonder about the other drugs I was not as familiar with. For example, digoxin levels were not posted and Tylenol can only be given up to 3 grams or 3000 milligrams in a 24 hour period. I also wished they posted basic mechanism of actions in this. The side effects are basic and there was only like 6 listed for each med or less but sometimes more. Not complaining about it but just to let you know. Overall a decent book and has served it's purpose. Could be better but I have had worse.
eh. I bought this to help study for the nclex but also use it for clinical, and I haven't been able to find so many meds that my patients are prescribed! I may come back and update after I take the nclex, but as far as real life patients go, I need a more inclusive book. nice layout though.
I love this drug guide! It's so simple to study with the drug name on the front page and the rest of the info on the back (like a flash card), and it's the most important information you need to know. I recommend this book to nursing students and our instructor recommended it to us to study for nclex. I'll know come December if it helped with nclex!
Absolutely love this book!! In nursing school currently studying for NCLEX and this book is a gift from heaven! It makes it easy to study and learn drugs!
I love how they have it set up as flash cards. The smaller size makes it easier to carry around and study whenever I need it. I recommend this to nursing students who need extra practice/studying on their medications.

I wish I had ordered this when I was in pharmacology. They are great note cards with essential information about the medications.
