I used First Aid for both Step 1 and Step 2 and had found it to be useful. However, this book for Step 3 is way too basic and lacking tons of information. Anytime I referred to this book for information on questions from the question banks, the information was never there. The information that is present is never to the level that Step 3 expects us to know. The CSS portion in the back consists of 100 cases presented in the most basic format with zero explanations for the thought process or really any help regarding how the CSS portion works.Bottom line, save your money and focus on the question banks. For the CSS portion, buy Conrad Fischer's CSS book. As usual, he comes off obnoxious, but at least he does a good job explaining the thought process behind the CSS process and cases.

This is pretty bad-- I'm not even 3 chapters in and they have consistently referred to beta blockers as alpha blockers (more than once). That's a big enough mistake I have to wonder what else might be wrong.I really wanted a text (non Qbank) resource but this isn't it. Save your money.

Love this book. Covers everything.

My husband loved this book. Helped him pass the first time!!! Great study guide

It is perfect and brand new, I got it earlier than expected
