Numerous times I've tried deciphering how the Social Security regulations apply to our family. Bewildered beyond belief, unable to sort out a viable strategy, I turned to this gem of clarity and succinctness. The Primer at the beginning of the book that lays out the basic rules is by itself worth the price of admission! Every time I have felt confused by all the bureaucratic jargon, I found myself turning to these two pages. They have prevented many a misunderstanding. Finally, our family was able to apply for and receive the benefits that we have earned over the course of a lifetime. Our hats off to Jim Blankenship and this amazing book!
Can't say even about how valuable this book is. Jim is able to write clearly about a topic that is anything but clear. He distills down all the important information and the book is extremely readable. He has updated this edition to include the recent changes as well.
