In addition, college students could listen to their chapters while they are commuting, exercising, etc. Please consider this! I commute 8 hours to school per week and really need this feature. Still getting used to this e-book thing. Like that I can highlight and take notes, but just like the feel of turning the pages. It's a textbook, what more can I say about it with it being a requirement for school.
Book not worth a dime. The professor must have an interest in it. We used it once for one assignment, and many students did not buy it at all.
Bought it for my macro practice class. It's an okay book, not hard to read so I'll give 5 stars. The fact that it's a loose leaf version that you can insert in a binder is convenient, but I miss the feel of a true textbook. The content within the book is fine I suppose since I don't know anything about macro practice prior to this course and book. It brings the lab thing too that can be used as a study tool.
Not that most have a choice in this book, but I read as little of it as possible. The level of bias in this book was ridiculous. Academics should give facts to allow a student to make an opinion not teach with opinion to sway opinion. This book should be removed from classrooms!
I got the book on the day it was scheduled to be deliver. just in time for classes at the beginning of the fall semester. This book is a must get form if you are doing Community Organization in Sociology. It has all the info needed to guide you in completing your assignments on your syllabus
